"It's the Democratic Party which restarted nuclear power plants!" A woman from Tomioka-machi in Fukushima Prefecture approached Hiroshi Kawauchi, a lawmaker from the Democratic Party (right on the photo). "It's not related to the political parties neither to the labor associations. The anger of the young people surrounded the National Diet. It's an affair. "The meeting to protest against the restart of nuclear power plants which begun at 7pm started with the salutation of Mr.Satoshi Kamata, a documentary writer. The silhouette of the National Diet building was over his shoulder.
Organized by the Metropolitan Coalition Against Nukes, the meeting in front of the PM's Office each friday has become an established custom. The coalition also organized the meeting to surround the National Diet building on July 29, to protest against the restart of nuclear power plants.
Nobuhiko Sutô, member of the House of Representatives of the Democratic Party (Kanagawa Constituency No.7), started a speech but people roared against him. "You belong to the nuclear promoter party, what can you say?" A woman from Tomioka-machi in Fukushima Prefecture followed and shouted: "Don't say good things just because of the election!" The thundering voices became "Go away!".
People roared at Mr.Kawauchi as they did for Mr.Sutô. Hiroshi Kawauchi is a member of the House of Representatives of the Democratic Party who works hard for the denuclearization as the director-general of "Restore Nuclear Power Plant Accident Project Team", although Yoshito Sengoku, the Chief Deputy Cabinet Secretary and the executive office are prejudiced against him.
There was this scene of a woman in her sixties, who had evacuated from Futaba-machi to Mtnato-ku in Tokyo. She drew closer to Mr.Kawauchi, the assembly member, saying: "Please let me return to Fukushima!" She was living inside the 1.5 km zone from Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant and left out without any belongings.
The number of participants to the protest has been increasing each time and it's not rare to see more than 100 000 to 200 000 people there. People who never participated to any demonstration or meeting are now active. It even became a social phenomenon. People started to take direct action against the Democratic Party's regime which never listen to people's voice.
It's quite natural that people roared against the democrats at the "Meeting to surround the National Diet building" which is an expansion of friday's meeting.

The anger against PM Noda's regime which restarted the nuclear power plants, although the causes of the Fukushima accident have not been determined, crosses time and space and gathers people.
A group came from Matsumoto City, in Nagano Prefecture, using two hired minibuses. A man in his sixties living as a pensioner said: "I brought my strong anger and came to surround the National Diet building. True democracy is to stop nuclear power plants".
From Germany, Australia and Korea members of the diet from Green Parties came all the way here. Merkel's regime in Germany has changed direction in a large way after Fukushima Nuclear Plant's Accident. "If the people's voice becomes big like this in Germany, the politicians would have already started the conversation with citizens…" Mrs. Bärbel Höhn, Vice President of Alliance '90/The Greens said impatiently.
A seventy years old man who came from Akita, living as a pensioner said: "I couldn't come here for the campaign against the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty in 1960 because i hadn't enough money. I'll wipe out the frustration of that time today". He looked happy.
Mr.Taro Fuchigami who had surrounded the National Diet for the campaign against the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty in 1960 (Age 69, at the time he was a high school student) compared this campaign and the protest against the restart of nuclear power plants like this: "For the the campaign against the Japan-U.S. Security Treaty, it was call out from organizations. For this one, people participate individualy. In 1960 the theme about Treaty was a bit complicated but for the nukes, it's all about daily life and health. Life depends on it. The protest against the restart generates a much stronger anger".
25 mins after the begenning of the meeting, the control line of the police collapsed and people overflowed on the roadway from the sidewalk. The large street in front of the National Diet building was filled with citizens. The shouts of the great flood of people "Opposed to restart the nuclear power plants" made scold the earth and echoed into the Diet Building.
The police doubled the riot police vehicles and closed the front gate of the Diet Building. "Storm into the National Diet Building", the major event of one half a century ago might have passed in the head of the senior police.
Professionals had provoked it but If the citizens had not made increase this energy of anger, a situation where the people threaten the highest authority of the state would not have been able to occur.
